Los Angeles-based artist Pae White has created an installation in which vast quantities of coloured yarn span and criss-cross the room to create supergraphics spelling out words that can only be deciphered by navigating the space.

What: Rachel Whiteread: Detached
Where: Gagosian Gallery, London
When: Until May 25
This exhibition of new sculpture by Rachel Whiteread features a cast of the empty interior of a garden shed in concrete and steel. The large scale sculptures render negative space into a physical form, and record every nuance of the physical object, such as the bolts or the grain of the wood shown in the image above.
