The third exhibition in a five-year project by Bristol-based artist Peter Bobby, which has travelled from the Architecture Centre in Bristol, to the Ffotogallery in Cardiff, and now to the National Theatre on London’s Southbank, explores the relationship between burgeoning high-rise developments and the city through a series of photographs and films.

What: London Festival of Architecture 2013
Where: Various locations
When: 1-30 June

The London Festival of Architecture, now an annual, month-long and citywide exploration of London’s built environment, will be a ‘time for architecture in the city’. There will be lectures from leading architects and designers including Sir Terry Farrell, Tom Dixon and Quinlan Terry, specially-commissioned pavilions and installations, walking tours of the city, student shows and exhibitions.

I recommend an installation commissioned by the Barbican in Dalston by Argentine artist Leandro Erlich, an exhibition of models from international architects organised by the British Council, a tour of Sir Hugh Casson’s London by Catherine Croft, Director of the Twentieth Century Society and the Serpentine Pavilion by Sou Fujimoto. Enjoy your weekend!
