Listening to… Woman’s Hour

As soon as I heard this band on Spotify I fell in love with their soft, emotive sound- the perfect kind of Indie with both electronic and guitar elements. I’m talking about Woman’s Hour, not the topical Radio 4 show presented by Jenni Murray and Jane Garvey, but the four piece band. Hailing from Kendal and now residing in London, Woman’s Hour consists of siblings Fiona Jane (vocals) and William (guitar), along with Nick (bass) and Josh (keyboards). Their latest single Darkest Place is out now via Luv Luv Luv Records and they’ve also done a surprisingly good cover of Leona Lewis’s Bleeding Love.

You can see the haunting and beautifully monochromatic video for Darkest Place below.
