I think Greta Gerwig is awesome. Here she is photographed by Helena Christensen for the fantastic new So It Goes magazine. Gerwig most recently authored and starred in Frances Ha, a comic coming-of-age story about a late-twenty something dancer living in New York. It was directed by her real-life boyfriend Noam Baumbach and is shot entirely in black and white. She says of her work:
“I write because I love to write, not because I love to write for myself. And I act because I love acting, not because I burn to act what I create. But I think they will be linked forever in some form for me”
