Stop Look Listen: Three things to do this week

It would have been an obvious choice to recommend the Frieze Art Fair this weekend, but if you want to escape the crowds and get off the beaten track, I’ve handpicked three events for you. Head east for a pop-up bookshop, pop-up art exhibition and, oh, pop-up film festival (there might be a theme there..). Enjoy!

What: London Fields Free Film Festival
Where: London Fields, London
When: Until 26 October

This festival, completely free and run by volunteers, brings a series of film screenings (some outdoors) to interesting, local venues around London Fields. There’s a Ryan Gosling all-dayer at the Hackney Attic @ The Picturehouse as well as a screening of one of my favourite recent films, Frances Ha.

What are you doing this weekend?
