Stop Look Listen: Three things to do this week

I can’t believe there are only two more weekends in November. Things are definitely starting to feel festive, with plenty of Christmassy, crafty fairs and food markets. It’s also time to fit in all the art exhibitions you haven’t got round to seeing, before they switch up in December and January. So here’s my pick of three things to do this week- get crafty at the Renegade Craft Fair in Brick Lane, an immersive fashion expo at The Photographers’ Gallery and foodie heaven at a unique Supper Club in Farringdon.

What: Renegade Craft Fair
Where: Old Truman Brewery, London
When: 22 + 23 November

The Renegade Craft Fair heads across the pond and returns to London. Shoppers will find an array of handmade goods at the fair, ranging from stationery and gift wrap to one-of-a-kind jewellery, illustrated prints and homeware. There will also be workshops such as Prickle Press’ DIY letterpress postcards, a pom pom bauble workshop with Pom Pom Quarterly, plus other crafts hosted by Mollie Makes magazine.

What: Analemma: Fashion Photography 1992 – 2012
Where: The Photographers’ Gallery, London
When: Until January 18

The first London presentation of works by Dutch-born photographer Viviane Sassen. This exhibition focuses on her fashion work and features around 350 images that subvert the limits and conventions of this genre. Sassen has conceived an immersive installation for The Photographers’ Gallery, presenting her images as a series of dynamic looped projections which sweep over and across the Gallery walls and floor.

What: Wild Game Co. and Workshop Coffee Co. Supper Club
Where: 27 Clerkenwell Road, London
When: November 21 + December 5

One for foodies: the acclaimed Wild Game Co. in collaboration with Workshop Coffee Co. are holding a monthly pop-up dining event; Struie Road. The name comes from one of the most remote places in Britain and Wild Game Co. founder Andy’s childhood home. All of the meat, fish, cheese and whisky featured in the Struie Road menu will be sourced from the producers in this area.

Struie Road will offer a changeable 8 course menu, with seasonality playing a vital role in the ingredients used. Starting with a complimentary glass of bubbles on arrival, guests will then be lead through an evening of Scottish delights, including Cold Smoked Scottish Salmon, Slow Braised Ribs and Red Deer Chateuxbriand. Ending the evening with a sweet treat and a cup of Workshop coffee. yum!
