I wish I lived here: a light home with accents of blue

Those Scandi estate agents have done it again – captured an enviably beautiful, little Swedish home full of light and charm. This time it’s in Gothenburg, and features not quite the monochrome palette of black and white that we have come to love from the Nordic countries. Here, there are deep pops of navy blue, seen in the rich patina of that old door and the blue and white of the crockery in the kitchen. I love the mix of textures, from the different shades of painted floors (hello glossy black!), through the welcoming russet leather chair, to the Moroccan-inspired rug (skewed just so to one angle) that seems to be all the rage at the moment. For me, the combination is beautiful…
