Last week I got a sneak peek of Soak&Sleep’s new Autumn/Winter 2016 collection. With the slogan ‘Rediscover Every Night’, their aim is to provide all the ingredients for the ultimate good night’s sleep, each night, every night. From the softest French linen and the most luxurious Egyptian cotton to the fluffiest towels and the sweetest smelling candles to drift you off into relaxation, Soak&Sleep believe that going to bed shouldn’t just be a habit or a necessity at the end of the day, but something to look forward to and be celebrated.
I’m all for uplifting those everyday moments, and if it means I can sneak in a little nap in the middle of the day and not feel guilty, I’m in!
Soak&Sleep have curated a new collection that aims to suit all manner of tastes and needs, whether you want to bring a touch of hotel elegance at home or simply want to update your bedroom with a new throw or blanket. A good night’s sleep isn’t a one-size-fits-all formula, and nor does everyone have a huge budget to blow, so Soak&Sleep hope to have something for everyone, from affordable washed cotton bedding to soft as down microfibre pillows. They’ve also added to their debut furniture collection, launched last year and expanded their range of bathroom accessories.
The Nordic-inspired Cranbook bed, above, now comes in maple-finish bare wood for a clean, modern style, while the Antoinette furniture range, further below, has a French feel for a more classic look. I love the look above, beautifully fresh with plain white Egyptian cotton linen for a boutique hotel room feel at home.
I’ve got their French Linen set on my bed at home, I love it’s relaxed, crumpled feel, but this winter they’re adding a soft, relaxed cotton as an affordable alternative. There’s also a pretty ruffled French linen set with a feminine touch, while a stone-washed bedspread in deep purple or charcoal grey (below) adds a cosy accent for those colder evenings.
Soak&Sleep have added to their ‘Soak’ range of towels and bathrobes a collection of decorative accessories to complete the look. There are three ranges – in luxurious white marble as well as natural resin and white resin, which mimic the look of stone. Add to this their fluffy, thicky pile Ultimate Supima towels and a scented candle or two and you’ll be feeling preened and pampered in no time.
My favourite from the new collection is this Clerkenwell bed below, with it’s clean, mid-century style spindled headboard – very Ercol. It’s got a lovely, tactile, curved headrest and looks really solid and beautifully made in real life. I was genuinely pleasantly surprised by the quality and I think the price tag is quite reasonable for that handcrafted feel. That’s definitely on my wishlist for when we decorate the bedrooms in our new house!
Soak&Sleep’s new collection launches in October 2016. Does anything take your fancy?
