It has been one year since Jasper Conran took over the Conran brand from his father Terence, refreshing the Chelsea Flagship store last summer and more recently giving the The Conran Shop on Marylebone High Street a fresh new look. Housed in an old stable building at the north end of the vibrant high street, the shop has been revitalized with a new ‘Conran Kitchen’ cafe (partnered with Caravan and St John Bakery) on the ground floor and a homeware and furniture section on the top floor, titled The Conran Apartment. This section of the store will be home to an edited selection of “iconic furniture, original artwork and exclusive objects that capture and inspire the Conran way of life,” including pieces by Charlotte Perriand, Charles and Ray Eames and Paola Navone.
