I saw this exhibition posted on Timeout.com and literally cannot wait for its arrival at the Dulwich Picture Gallery. Certainly an unusual combination of a modern abstract expressionist and a 17th Century classical French painter, the exhibition claims to draw similarities between Cy Twombly and Nicolas Poussin’s focus on Arcadia, passion and love. (29th June 2011- 25 September 2011)
