Yoshio Oono Architect & Associates have recently completed this house in Hashimoto, Japan, with a striking orange roof-come-canopy, folding over the side of the building to reveal the interior to the exterior. The house can be completely opened up, and yet retain an element of privacy due to the triangular cavern of the facade.
