Frozen Relic: Arctic Works by ScanLAB Projects

ScanLAB, a research and teaching group attached to the Bartlett, documented a series of ice floes in northwest Svalbard, Norway using millimetre-perfect 3D-scanning technology. Frozen Relic temporarily recreates this landscape in the AA Gallery using its natural material- frozen saltwater.

Fourth Plinth: Contemporary Monument

Since 1999, the ‘empty’ Northwest plinth in Trafalgar Square, London has been home to artworks by Elmgreen & Dragset, Antony Gormley and Rachel Whiteread, to name a few. This exhibition on the Fourth Plinth brings together a display of commissioned maquettes, as well as media clippings, public comments and archive material.

Film Nights with Disegno Magazine El Ultimo Grito

El Ultimo Grito, a London-based ‘post-disciplinary’ studio has picked Luis Garcia Berlanga’s 1953 film Bienvenido Mister Marshall for this ongoing film series hosted by RIBA London and Disegno Magazine. The evening starts with a presentation of the film followed by a Q&A with the person who chose it and a drinks reception.
