Here’s my pick of three things to do this week, including black and white photography from Andy Warhol, an art exhibition on German collage artist Hannah Höch and The Festival of Imagination at Selfridges.
STOP
What: Andy Warhol: Photographers 1976-1987
Where: The Photographers’ Gallery, London
When: Until March 30
As part of an exhibition featuring the work of David Lynch and William S. Burroughs, The Photographers’ Gallery brings together over 50 black and white photographs taken by Warhol from the 1970s until his death in 1987. Using 35mm film, Warhol carried a camera with him most of the time – taking up to 36 frames a day. He captured everything from everyday details and people on the street to celebrity parties, interiors and cityscapes.
LOOK
What: Hannah Höch
Where: Whitechapel Gallery, London
When: Until March 23
The Whitechapel Gallery presents the first major UK exhibition of the German artist Hannah Höch, who was often overlooked by traditional art history in favour of contemporaries such as George Grosz, Theo van Doesburgf and Kurt Schitters. Höch was an important member of the Berlin Dada movement and is famous for her collages with splice together images taken from popular magazines, illustrated journals and fashion publications.
LISTEN

The department store Selfridges has launched a new campaign for 2014 with the aim to ‘open your mind and explore’. The London events are centred around an amphitheatre designed by starchitect Rem Koolhaas.
