Here’s another Colour Picker post, where I choose a beautiful and atmospheric photograph of a landscape and match its colour to various home interiors. This time it’s Lofoten, an archipelago and a traditional district lying within the Arctic Circle in the county of Nordland, Norway. While the landscape appears cold and harsh, the small traditional homes on the shoreline look warm and cosy, especially the little red Monopoly-type buildings. I can imagine a fire burning inside and sheepskin rugs on the floor. Below are examples of dark grey walls with dark wood furniture, soft blankets and cushions, and accents of vermillion red.
