Christmas seems to have come around super-quick this year, the Oxford Street lights were up at the beginning of November and the Christmas adverts are in full swing. I haven’t really done a gift guide on the blog before, but I thought this year was a good time to start. There’s so many lovely independent shops out there, both on our high streets and online (I’ve tried to stick mainly to independent shops, but I did sneak in an & Other Stories or Anthropologie here and there, I couldn’t resist those Jane Austen painted books).
So I’ve selected a few of my favourite things, which I will be sharing over the coming week: a gift guide for her, for him and for homemakers (after all, this is a design and interiors blog…).
Lets start with the ladies, who all deserve a treat or two. There’s a lovely purse from my new favourite shop The Future Kept, some jewellery by my friend Saskia from Frost + Dutch and a tote bag from Oelwein, because, well, everyone needs a tote bag, especially when it says ‘ooh la la’ on it!

1: Amelie Mancini pouch, The Future Kept: £35.00
2: House of Rym cup and saucer set, Starling Store: £24.00
3: Tassel Bracelet, Frost + Dutch: £22.00
4: Ohlala tote bag, Oelwein: €14.50
5: Skandinavisk Kobenhavn scented candle, The Finnish Design Shop: €30.00
