Hello, happy new year and welcome back to another monthly edit of simple homeware! Each month, I share a curated collection of all the things I’m lusting over, with a focus on minimalist design for everyday life in the simple home.
I don’t know about you but as soon as it hits the 1st of January I want to rip down all the Christmas decorations and start with a clean palette. Once they’re all packed away, it’s like you can see your home with fresh eyes, as if for the first time. This time of year always makes me want to have a good old declutter, whether it’s organising the kitchen cupboards or rearranging my wardrobes. It’s a time for reevaluating ourselves and our goals, so it makes sense that we would want to reassess the space around us to ensure it can evolve with us.

With organisation in mind, I’ve rounded up a series of useful objects and and utilitarian tools for the home and further afield. From portable cutlery and reusable cups to help cut down on plastic, through surprisingly stylish tupperware and multipurpose containers, to 2020 diaries and goal planners, I’ve got you covered this January.
