I used to have a feature years and years ago when I first started the blog called Stop, Look, Listen, where I would round up three cultural events that were worth noting. I thought I would resurrect the idea and each week share the key (interior-related) things that had caught me eye that past week. Stop might be a new interiors product that has stopped me in my tracks, Look might be a new book on my reading list, and Listen might be a podcast, TV recommendation or event that I think you’d like to know about too. Think of it like a mini weekly newsletter – short, snappy and a little dose of simple inspiration!

Good news if you’re in the States – LA-based designer Sarah Sherman Samuel (whose work I adore) has just launched a gorgeous new collection of rugs, furniture and homeware for Lulu and Georgia. It’s been five years in the making, each design starting life as Sarah says as a pencil sketch or scribble on a napkin. ‘I created this collection much like I design spaces, with the goal that it feels collected, that you can fill a room with these pieces without it feeling like you’ve purchased it all from one place,’ she says. Everything looks on point, but I particularly love the grid rugs, the Rise daybed and round boucle cushions. I just wish I was closer!

LOOK
This beautifully monochrome book caught my attention when I was passing through Arket on Regent Street the other day. It presents the work of Swedish designer Carina Seth Andersson, who has worked with the likes of Iittala, Fogia and Marimekko. The book is the result of a collaboration between an inspiring group of women: interior photographer Pia Ulin, graphic designer Susanna Nygren Barrett, stylist and interior designer Lotta Agaton, as well as of course Carina Seth Andersson.
