Splurge or Save: 20 minimalist side tables

My previous Splurge or Save post turned out to be quite popular so I thought I’d follow up with another one – an edit of 20 minimalist side tables, comparing the high with the low. From just £12.50 to £645, there’s something for every budget, whether you want to splash out on marble or scrimp on a simple stool.

I love a minimalist side table, especially a round one. They help create cosy focal points in a room, clustered around an armchair or sofa. They’re perfect for a small space if you don’t have enough room for a bigger coffee table, but also work well to complement a bigger table in a larger space. They’re always useful for resting your drink, displaying a lamp, vase or magazine or two. Minimalist side tables are now far more than just three legs and a table top, they’re artistic statements in their own right, with sculpted bases, playful forms and tactile material compositions.
