The green interior trend is still going strong – I guess we all can see the benefits of bringing a dose of nature-inspired tranquility into our homes. I first declared my love for the colour green in 2016 (in this post) then became properly obsessed with green homeware in 2019 (in this post). I’ve slowly been adding little doses of green into my mostly neutral home, from a green feature wall in the bedroom to simple accessories and soft furnishings in the living room.

With colour you don’t have to go all in if you don’t want to. Instead choose little pops of tone to add interest here and there. You know me by now – I don’t like to overcomplicate things, preferring a simple approach. Think of the 70:30:10 rule – 70% of your interior is a (most likely neutral) backdrop colour, 30% is a complementary tone, and 10% is your accent colour (in this case green). I believe picking out one colour in your artwork and accessories can help create a calm, soothing cohesive scheme. That way you can always swap them out if you tire of the colour.

My green homeware edit
In today’s post I’m sharing a simple edit of green homeware, collating the best accessories and textiles in that most soothing of tones. You’ll find tactile linen bedding, on-trend scalloped trays, utilitarian cutlery and garden furniture. There’s plenty of lovely things to uplift the home for Spring and Summer, whether you’re looking to refresh your bedroom or up your tablescaping game.
