20 of the best monochrome cushions

The other week I popped up to the John Lewis Oxford Street Garden and fell in love with the monochrome cushions that decked the cosy cabins up there. They were part of the company’s collaboration with creative organisation PATTERNITY and I just had to return a few days later to buy one for myself. People are always asking me where my other black and white cushion is from (Happy + Co) and I thought this one would create an lovely focal point to this corner the living room.

It also got me thinking about doing a round-up of minimal, monochrome cushions, because they offer such an easy, simple way to add texture and interest to a space without the need for colour.

So if you want to add a bit of punch to your neutral home (I’m guessing you like pared-back and pale decor if you’re on these pages…) here’s 20 black and white designs that have caught my eye. They start from just £3.99 and go up to over £100, so whether you want a quick fix or to invest in something that will stand the test of time, there’s lots to love here.
