Take a moment: four things that caught my eye this week

Here in London the weather has definitely turned and we are well and truly on the wet path to winter. As a respite from the rain, here’s my pick of some of the posts I enjoyed the most this week. Enjoy!

1. The lovely lovely lovely home of the wonderfully talented Jessica Comingore (check out her blog: http://blog.jessicacomingore.com/) over on Old Brand New.

2. I enjoyed this post on Miss Moss featuring images taken by Yale Joel for Life Magazine in 1950. They show the ladies of Colby College on their annual Mountain Day hike – a tradition that started in the 1850s and continues to this day. The ladies look so glamorous and chic despite being on a hike- no cagoules or The North Face in sight!

3. The new Kinfolk cookbook is on my wishlist. One-third cookbook, one-third narrative tale and one-third international adventure, The Kinfolk Table is a collection of 85 delectable recipes spread over nearly 400 pages from creative types around the world. I can’t wait!
