At home

We’ve been busy redecorating our flat in King’s Cross and I thought I’d share the results so far. I’m probably most proud of the living room, it’s been newly plastered and the double doors onto the balcony let lots of light in. I picked up the Eero Saarinen style tulip table from Ebay and the two Ercol dining chairs from Ardingly antiques fair in West Sussex, which I thoroughly recommend for vintage bargains (the grey chair and silver lamp were also from there- for £20 each!). The geometric cushions are from Ebay as well, from a company called Andshine, while the red and white rug is from Habitat. We’ve just got the kitchen to do and then it will finally be finished in time for Christmas (we hope)!

The blanket on the sofa is from one of my favourite shops, The French House on Lamb’s Conduit Street, which sells French antiques, lighting, table linen and accessories.
