I’ve written about British online store Shedquarters on the blog before (see the interview here). It was started by Hayley Pryke and Ross Frame in 2014 out of a converted shed in Cambridge, hence the name. They sell a handpicked collection of contemporary goods, each item carefully chosen for its considered design and craftsmanship.
Says Shedquarters: ‘We source items from independent designers and makers as well as established brands to create a collection of goods that we hope will be part of your home for years to come. We search for well-crafted and thoughtful designs, which are built to last and become part of your lifestyle. Whether it’s a coffee cup for your morning ritual or a comforting blanket for a relaxing evening.’
But you want to know the best bit? You can now shop Shedquarters beautiful pieces directly on my own shop, powered and secured by Showroom. There’s handcrafted porcelain cups, Fine Little Day accessories, graphic stationery and cosy geometric blankets. I’m really in love with their simple, Scandi-style ceramics, including this Nobel Cup snapped here.
Each Nobel Cup is handmade by Line Maria Lund, the founder and designer behind Danish studio Nobel Design. Her studio is based on the island of Bornholm and each cup is made to order for Shedquarters. Available in a soft sand colour or slate grey, I love their tactile quality and squat, bulbous shape thats perfect for big cups of coffee. They have a handcrafted appeal, each signed on the bottom and glazed on the inside, but the slim arch of their handle keeps them modern and contemporary.
Here are some of my favourite pieces from the Shedquarters collection, perfect for Christmas presents or even a treat for yourself! Click on each product to view details and add to your cart if you wish here on my blog. Delivery costs are as stated on check-out and all orders are sent to you directly by the seller.
